Henna

Henna/Mehndi is a dye prepared from leaves of Lawsonia inermis, known as henna tree. From the leaves it is crushed into powder and later into paste form. It leaves stain on skin. In India, it is applied for weddings, events, special occasions to bring luck and happiness.

It can last up to 1-3 weeks depending on how you take care of your henna, henna placement on body and skin chemistry with henna.

• Shaving/waxing should be done before getting henna.
• If you are planning to get manicures/pedicures get it done before.
• Wear comfortable clothing.
• It would be best if you bring someone to drive you back if planning to get both hands done.

• Please be mindful for 1 hour that you have hennaed and not smudge or touch anything until it dries.
• Let me know if you want to cough/sneeze or make body movements so it does not ruin your henna.
• Have payment, car keys ready so that henna would not smudge.

Ingredients: Pure henna powder, water, eucalyptus, essential oil, clove essential oil, sugar, Katha powder & lemon. - Vegan

Yes, the henna paste will dry and start to crack.  After waiting 2- 8 hours and sealing it with lemon/sugar paste, scrape off. Avoid water 12-24 hours. Seal with coconut oil. 

I believe that henna is for everyone ages 7+ and henna doesn't see any gender.

We DO NOT use black or any other color henna. Black ink is not natural and is very dangerous because it contains para-phenylenediamine (PPD). We DO NOT recommend the use of black henna.

There are paint hennas that come in white, gold, bronze and black colors.  This is body art paint that stays up to 1 day and is not water-proof.
